25th June 2009 --- Despite extremely dull conditions, it was very pleasing, when the sky cleared just in time for 60059, Swindon Dalesmen which was hauling the 6E41 Westerleigh to Lindsey tanks. The train approaches Harsfield near Standish Junction. Many thanks to DR for info and many thanks to TD/RD for the update. The train was running 54early so sadly some of my friends were caught out.

27th June 2009 --- 'The Kernow Growler' operated by Spitfire railtours, ran from Birmingham International to Penzance and return. ECS origin from Carnforth, the locomotives were DRS' Split headcode box and Ex HNRC 37087 named Keighley and Worth Valley Railway which paired with DRS 37194 which was snowplough fitted, and both carried same liveries of the orginial DRS livery. 37087 lead 37194 on the return, as the pair roar pass Brent knoll in fantastic evening sunlight heading back to Birmingham International. The train ran as 1Z73 15:38 from Penzance. Many thanks to LJS for the info

29th June 2009 --- Certainly an eye opener, was the Ultra-sonic Test train (preferably if the Ped leads) which today ran as the 4Z08 12:17 Derby RTC to Laira TMD (23:11). Luckily enough, Network Rail's 31233 lead 6263, 999602, and Ex-One DBSO 9703 on the rear. The test train growls through Filton Abbey Wood running 46 minutes early. Sadly the train ran via St Phillips Marsh meaning that the DBSO would lead for my friends in the South West. Many thanks must go to and will go to the Lizard for the info and updates. Many thanks to DLR for his info.
