Monday 29th June 2009 --- After getting the 'impressive' Ped, a sad moment for South Wales tug fans was the unsurprising departure of Transrail liveried 60061. Making my trip back from Devon to South Wales for a sunny shot of 60061 last Saturday feels much better now after taking the oppurtunity just incase the loco goes into storage or Quarantine, which was exactly what happened, as 60061 is failure prone. Since reinstated, the tug has failed several times, and lets hope this is not the last we see of her. 60077, 60022, 60024 are all likely to come back within the next few weeks, lets hope its the tug 'boom' that we've all been waiting for. The tug departed Wales, on the typical tug departure working following in the footsteps of 60096 and 60021 which both departed last week, the 6E20 Margam to Immingham loaded/empty steel. The loco was DIT behind 66165, but surprisingly left its train at Llanwern. I photographed the pair running light at Bishton.
